Craft Night

Since our first year of selling scripture bags we've had a lot of fun together and we've learned a lot about creating a product and getting it made and making available to our customers and fans. We have had an overwhelming response and success selling out almost every bag that we made in our original run. We've had to reorder certain styles several times to keep up with the demand. We've branched out in 2007 with styles that are even more functional and durable than before. We've redesigned and improved our scripture cases during these first two years and have added new material to some of our scripture cases. The Ruthy 2 is all canvas material, giving it an even more homemade look to it, as well as the Tree of Life tote for men that combines vinyl and canvas together for a cool new look with a screen printed design as well. We've changed all of our new scripture covers with longer "purse style" handles for the ladies and double handle "palm style" for our men's totes--all of which are triple stitched for strength. We've tried to be resourceful and fun too by making our hang tags with artwork on them for customers to use as book marks too. Some of our new bags in 2007, namely the Ruthy 2 and Tree of Life, come available in both compact and regular size for our customers.

Julia, Katie and Ruth still get together for craft night once a week to sew and design bags, lately they have been making diaper bags for friends that are having babies. They came up with some of our newest designs at craft night. We hope to bring some fun new styles to 2008 with possible embossed designs, screen printed art and possibly some larger shoulder bags.
